Spreading the Good News!

I had another great doctor's appointment today.  Baby Milner's heartbeat was nice and strong and since we have passed the first trimester mark we wanted to share the good news with the rest of our friends!  The boys did a great job smiling for the picture and all of Facebook loved our announcement.

After watching Sam, it didn't take Jack very long to get the hang of the iPad.  Next, we'll be buying him his own!

Jack's Two Year Checkup

Jack and I went to see Dr. Sherwood this morning for his two year checkup.  He weighed 31 lbs (around the 50th percentile) and was 37 inches long (97th percentile).  Dr. Sherwood was very pleased when she looked at his growth charts and commented that he was still on track to be a big boy like his daddy!  She checked Jack from head to toe, wanted to know all about the things he was doing and saying and told me that she thought he was right on track for his age.  We left the clinic with smiles all around and a thankful heart for a healthy little boy.

Today we are continuing Jack's birthday celebration with an airplane party at our house! 

The new two-year-old was all smiles when he woke up on his party day.

A lot of the party decorations were really special.  My grandfather, Papa, had quite a collection of airplanes from his days as Director of the Jackson International Airport.  We put them in different places around the house and everyone enjoyed looking at them.
