Happy Easter!

A few weeks ago our friend Matt Torres took some Easter pictures of the boys.  He did a great job!

They had two live bunnies and as soon as they put one in Jack's lap he squealed, "PUPPY!"  It's pretty much his word for every animal right now.  :)

"Well, maybe those furry things aren't puppies after all?"

Sweet brothers.

Look who stopped by with some very cool loot for the boys...the Easter bunny!

We can't wait to play outside with the new Mudpie kitchen.

Lili & Shuffie with the boys before church.

I was surrounded by handsome men today!
After church, everyone met at Pop Pop & Bobi's house for lunch.  Jack was loving some sweet potatoes and kept trying to make me take a bite!
The big cousins were enjoying their lunch, too.
The whole crew was entertained by the little ones hunting for eggs after we finished lunch.
Sam had quite a few eggs in his basket!  Good job!
Jack set out to find some eggs but had a little bit of a hard time getting around.  His basket is almost as big as he is!
He found one!
Yay, Jack!!
Jack's buddy, Hayes, helped him by putting a few eggs in his basket.
Hunting for eggs is a tough job.  Jack decided to take a rest and checkout what he had found.
These two had fun looking for eggs!
Before we left for nap time, all the boys sang "Happy Birthday" to Uncle Paul and Mammy in celebration of their recent birthdays this week.

We hope everyone had a blessed Easter with the ones you love.  We sure enjoyed our day with family. Happy Easter!

Easter Egg Fun

One of my favorite Easter traditions as a child was dying eggs with my mom.  After we got home from the Braves game this afternoon I got everything ready to dye eggs with my two sweet boys!

Sam was loving getting to stand on the step ladder so he could color some of the eggs by himself.  Jack was content to just sit back and watch the action.  :)

Love all of the pretty, vibrant colors!

Sam was being so careful with the eggs.

I love making memories with my sweet angels!

After the dye dried on the eggs we added stickers to make these cool monster eggs.  Great job, Sam!

MS Braves Exhibition Game

The Atlanta Braves came to Trustmark Park today to play the Mississippi Braves for the first time ever!  We were so excited to go watch this great game with Lili & Shuffie.

The National Guard had a really cool Humvee setup at the back of the parking lot.  The Guardsmen were very kind to Sam and talked to him about it for a while.

Daddy & Sam

Daddy, Sam, Me & Jack

Once we got inside the park, Sam was determined to find his big, red friend.  Jack wasn't so sure about Trusty and clung pretty tightly to Daddy!

Sam had a blast at Trustmark Park today.  He played in the jumping castles, hit some baseballs, watched a few innings of good baseball and got a hug from Trusty.  Happy Saturday!

Beds Full of Friends!

Between the many stuffed animals, "meanies," and "nee nees," these boys almost don't have room for themselves in their beds.  They love it, though, and wouldn't have it any other way!

Easter Parties

Today, Sam and Jack had Easter parties at Mother's Morning Out.

They looked so festive in their sports bunny shirts!

After Lili picked them up from school, they drove downtown to eat lunch with me and Mrs. Marilyn.

Sam was so proud of the cute bunny hat he made.  I love the tail on the back!

Jack and his teachers made this sweet Easter card for me and Adam.

Sam's cute little Chick on a stick he made.

Sam's Easter basket coloring page.

Close-up of the precious bunny hat Sam and his teachers made.  Aren't they so creative?!

Both boys had a fun day of snacks, crafts and egg-hunting with their sweet friends and teachers.  We are so blessed to be a part of CUMC's Mother's Morning Out.

Cool Dude

Haircuts are for Big Boys!

It wasn't Jack's first haircut, but it WAS Jack's first haircut to sit in the chair by himself.  I was so proud of my big boy.  He didn't flinch or shed one tear the whole time Ms. LaMarian cut his hair.

Ta-Da!!  Look how handsome my sweet Jack looks with his new do!
