Egg Bowl 2014

The kids spent the night last night with Lili and Shuffie so Adam and I could wake up early today and drive to Oxford for the Egg Bowl.

This morning, Jack and Sam made their annual holiday gingerbread houses with Lili.

They look great!

Adam and I had a wonderful time together at the football game.  It has been a while since we have been on a "date" to a game in Oxford.  We were glad the Rebels could pull out a win over the Bulldogs tonight!  Hotty Toddy!

Thanksgiving 2014

We started off Thanksgiving morning with our traditional parade watching in PJs.

Then we got dressed to go to Pop Pop and Bobi's house for lunch.  Everybody was dressed in red so we could take the cousin Christmas card picture.

A big lunch and picture taking wore this precious lady out.

After nap time, we went to Lili and Shuffie's house for dinner.  The boys and I made this fruit turkey and had a blast.  It was delicious too!

Morgan was able to wear the turkey dress I bought for her last year on the day we found out she was a girl.  She looked just as pretty in it as I imagined she would on the day I bought it!

I'm so thankful for these three turkeys!  Happy Thanksgiving!

Double Checkup

Today, I took Morgan and Jack for their check-ups (6 month and 3 year) with Dr. Adcock in hopes of only exposing ourselves to the germs at the Children's Clinic once instead of twice during flu season!

Morgan weighed 19 lbs 1.5 oz (89th percentile) and was 26.25 inches long (54th percentile).  She is a growing, healthy girl and Dr. Adcock was pleased with her progress over the past few months.  He checked her ears and confirmed that her second ear infection had cleared up nicely so we are praying that we don't have another infection any time soon.  I sure would hate for my sweet girl to have to get tubes!

Jack weighed 36 lbs (87th percentile) and was 39 inches tall (83rd percentile).  He had grown quite a bit in the past year and it looks like he is going to be a big boy like his Daddy.

I am so thankful for two great check-ups today for my healthy babies.  What a blessing!
