I decided to be adventurous and try my hand at a homemade Ninja Turtle birthday cake for Jack.
Morgan sat in the kitchen with me and offered moral support. She was a great cheerleader!
I cranked up my famous Kitchen Aid mixer and got to work on the cake batter!
The cake mix was for a tie dyed cake and it came with six different colors of food coloring. I divided up the cake batter into separate cups and dripped a different color of food coloring into each one.

I decorated the cake after the boys went to bed tonight, so I can't wait to see what Jack thinks when he wakes up in the morning!
