Back to Work

Today was my first day back at work and it wasn't so bad. I think the dread of the past few weeks was much worse! I am SO thankful for two grandmothers that are sweet enough to take care of our little boy while we are away so we don't have to leave him at a daycare. It is such a burden off of my mind and one less thing to worry about during the day. I know that he is in the best hands possible and doesn't even know I'm not there! Thank you Bobi and Lili for making this day and the ones to follow much easier for me because I know my Sam is taken care of.

Halloween Cousins

Today, Sam and I met Aunt Amanda and Cousin Banks over at Bobi's house to take Halloween pictures. They looked precious in their outfits!! Adam's Mimi made their pants and Amanda's friend Stephanie, www.stephaniedesigns.blogspot.com, made their cute monogrammed shirts. I think the most entertaining part of the photo shoot was all of the people making funny noises and faces trying to get these two little boys' attention. They did really good and we got some pretty cute pictures. Happy Fall!!

Big Boy Bed

Last night was Sam's first night to sleep in his big boy bed in his own room and he did great! He has been sleeping in a cradle in our room since the day we brought him home from the hospital and boy did I miss him last night! I was a little nervous about leaving him in his room by himself because I was afraid I might not hear him if he needed something but knew I had to do it before it was time for me to go back to work. I also thought I would be awake all night listening for him on the monitor, but I only woke up once around 3:30 and ran in there to take a peek at him - he was snoozing away. Way to go Sam!!

Precious!

Reading with Dad

First Play Date

Sam and I were so excited to get to eat lunch and visit with our friends Leslie and Rachel. Leslie and I work together at Blue Cross and were due 9 days apart. We had so much fun being pregnant at the same time! Baby Rachel was born on my birthday, August 18th, so she and Sam are almost exactly a month apart. Thanks for a fun afternoon!

The Big Apple

Last week Adam had to go to New York for work. He was so sweet and brought Sam back his first souvenirs, Minimum Wage the Ugly Doll and Little Nut Brown Hare from the book Guess How Much I Love You. Such cute little friends!
