Sam's First Sleepover

Sam took an extra bag to school this morning because he was going to his first sleepover with Banks and Hayes tonight!

Bobi picked up Sam from school and they met Didi, Banks & Hayes at Prep for Will's basketball game.

These boys love their cousin, Will!

After the game, they all went back to Didi & Easy's house to let the fun begin.  What's better than a blanket fort?

After a pretty uneventful night, the early risers were up playing trains and ready for another day of fun.

They went to Learning Express where they were celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday.  They listened to some Dr. Seuss stories...

Made their own Cat in the Hat craft...

...and got to meet Thing 1 and the Cat in the Hat!

Sam's hat he made at the party!

Love the big smile on Sam's Cat in the Hat.

Didn't these three do a great job?

After the Dr. Seuss birthday party, the crew took a trip to the Jackson Zoo and learned all about this great big turtle and saw the other cool animals that live there.

A trip to the zoo wouldn't be complete without a train ride, of course!

Sam had plotted earlier in the day to spend another night with them because he didn't want the fun to end!  He asked Didi & Easy to "please text my parents and ask them if I can spend the night again."  :)  Unfortunately, Banks woke up from his nap with a fever, so it was time for Sam to come home so Banks could rest and feel better soon.  Thanks to the Eatons for having Sam over.  He had a blast and cannot wait to do it again soon!

Congratulations Buckles Family!

Tonight, Adam and I went to the Baptist Hospital to visit our good friends Adrienne and Doug Buckles.  They had a surprise arrival this week when baby Brody decided to enter the world at only 30 weeks!  Thankfully, mama and baby are doing well and we can't wait until Brody can come home from the NICU.  Congratulations Buckles Family!
