Sam's First Library Card

Sam and I took Jack to Lili's house this morning so we could go on a special outing just the two of us.  We drove to the Flowood library and got Sam his very first library card.  He was so excited and got to checkout a few books to take home with us.  I hope he always loves to read as much as he does now!

For some reason, at lunch today, Jack was determined to take a bite out of my pickle.

I wasn't sure he was going to like it, but I handed it over anyway and let him find out for himself. 

What a face!!!  I'm thinking he won't be eating any more pickles for a while!

Adam and Sam went fishing together for the first time today.  They found a perfect little spot near our neighborhood and cast a line.  Unfortunately, it started to rain not long after they started but they had fun nonetheless and plan on going back very soon!

Benjamin's Birthday Party

This morning we went to Benjamin's house to help him celebrate his 4th birthday.  Benjamin and Sam are friends from church and love playing with each other.

There were lots of water guns, water tables and a pool setup in their backyard.  The kids were having fun shooting each other with water and even got some of the adults wet!

Shiloh Splash Park

This morning we got up and packed our bags to go play with Kaley and Ms. Liza at the Shiloh Splash Park in Brandon.

Silly Sam thought he had found the perfect hat in my closet to shade him from the sun!

Jack was a little unsure at first and kept climbing the stairs to go down the slide and then sitting down before he got to the top.

It wasn't long before these two boys were having a ball playing in the water.

We had such a great time playing at the splash park this morning.  We can't wait to come back and cool off again soon!
