This afternoon we took Sam to his first Mississippi State Fair! Lili, Shuffie, Bobi, Uncle Eric, Aunt Amanda and Banks joined us and we all had a great time. I think Sam's favorite part of the day was watching all of the people.
We started out at the petting zoo....
And then went to watch the ducklings sliding into the water. The boys were able to get a good close look at them and even feel how soft they were! (Sam almost gave one of them too much love....)

It wouldn't be a real trip to the fair without a few rides, so Sam and Mom rode the trucks together! 
Sam was a great driver!
Then Sam and Dad took a spin on the carousel and my goodness...that thing was going fast..
but Sam hung on tight and loved every minute of it!
We played the "pick a duck" game...
and Sam won a cute little dinosaur!
Then after a quick break for a hug we were off to ...
ride the pony!! Sam didn't last very long before he was trying to jump off. I think he had all the fun a little boy could take and was ready to go home.
