No one would ever believe how sick this sweet boy has been by the big smile on his face. He has certainly been a trooper this week!
What has Jack been up to lately?
*He has been eating 8 oz. bottles of half Nutramigen half Similac Sensitive at breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime. So far so good with the weaning off of the Nutramigen. I am so hopeful that he will be able to tolerate the change and will start to feel more satisfied after a meal since he won't digest it as quickly. If the formula change goes well then he will get to start solids next month!
*He weighed 19 lbs. 3 oz. yesterday when we went back to see Dr. Sherwood for a re-check of his lungs since he has been so sick.
*He is starting to sleep even better than he has been since we have started weaning off the Nutramigen. I think he feels more full with the Sensitive formula added in and he usually goes down between 8-8:30 every night and rarely do I hear a peep from him until around 7-7:30 the next morning.
*He is just about to switch over to size 3 diapers and is wearing mostly 9-12 and 12 month clothes.
*He has been rolling over when we put him on the floor for tummy time and is so proud of himself. Cheerleader Sam is never far away and always runs over to tell him "Good Job!" or clap for him. It's so sweet!
*He is absolutely mesmerized by Sam these days and loves to follow him all around the room and smile at him. I know they will both be so glad when they can play together in the floor.
Happy Five Month Birthday, Baby Jack! We love you and are so thankful for the joy you bring to our lives!!
