Today's fun didn't end after Sam's soccer game was over. After lunch we changed the boys into their Halloween clothes and drove out to the Nichols-Boyd Pumpkin Patch.
Jack fell asleep in the car on our way there so we let him snooze while we waited in line.

They finally called our number and we hopped on the trailer for the hay ride.
Sam loved looking at all of the animals...
...and so did Jack!
We couldn't have asked for a prettier day!
"Mom, what is a Zedonk?"
"Mom, what are all of those big round orange balls?"
We made it safely to the pumpkin patch and Sam was ready to pick out the perfect pumpkin as soon as the trailer stopped.
They had lots of good ones to choose from!

I slowed everybody down just long enough to take a few family pictures...
...and then they were ready to keep moving!

We had a fantastic day enjoying the beautiful fall weather and family time. Jack didn't have quite as much fun as Sam, since he isn't mobile yet, but I promised him we'd go back next year and let him run around with his big brother. Happy Fall!!
