This afternoon Adam and I took Morgan back up to the newborn outpatient clinic at Woman's Hospital for a weight and bilirubin check. She was 5 lb 13 oz when we were discharged Friday morning and today she was back up to 6 lbs! We've been working hard! Also, her bilirubin level was stabilizing, which meant we wouldn't have to worry about taking home any kind of light or bili-blanket to help with her jaundice.
She really enjoyed this checkup because they had a nice little heater going while she was laying on the table. How cozy! Thankful for a good checkup today for our growing, healthy girl.
